Sue Widmer B.A. (Hons) A.T.C., was born and brought up in Lincolnshire, England. She Trained at Leeds College of Art and Cheltenham College of Art where she received a Bachelor of arts with Honours in art and design, followed by a post graduate certificate in Art Education.
Susan is married with three children and came to the Cayman islands in 1982. She presently runs the senior Art department at the Cayman Prep and High School.
The Majority of her early work has been exhibited through the Visual Arts Society and in recent years she has been working mostly by commission from all over the world.
The use of Acrylics enable her to attain vibrancy within her work. Inspired by everyday living her work offers the viewer a close and personal experience of Island life.
